Segway-Ninebot was founded in 1999 in the United States and was acquired by the Chinese company Ninebot in 2015. The company was the world’s first to introduce personal electric transport solutions. To this day, the patent-rich and technology-intensive Segway PT operates primarily in the business sector: Patrol companies and the security forces. Over the years, the Company has offered the Segway mini, which has provided an accessible, affordable solution for millions of customers in Israel and worldwide. In 2017, Segway (LeanSteer) was joined by the electric scooter models (self-balancing scooter), and in 2022 the Company launched a line of electric scooters. Part of the product range is currently on sale in the brand’s flagship stores, on the Company’s website and through authorized dealers nationwide.
