Mayer’s Cars & Trucks Co. Ltd. is Volvo’s exclusive importer of Volvo buses to Israel. Beginning in 1972, upon receiving the concession, the Group has been providing a wide range of buses – the most advanced and comfortable in the category, delivering an uncompromising solution for modern public transport in accordance with the customers’ stringent, diverse requirements. The range includes complete buses, chassis on which bodies will be assembled and a range of support services. The Mayer Group provides a variety of bus models, from models intended to be assembled locally through the Merkavim Transport Technologies Company (under Mayer ownership) through to importing of bus bodies from foreign companies for the tourism segment.
